@LN78 I always get that mixed up with Noah starring Russell Crowe from the same year. If I remember correctly they both flopped spectacularly at the box office.

@JohnnyShoulder Funny you should mention that. I'm watching "Noah" at the weekend - it's a bloody Darren Aronofsky film! "Exodus" tanked so badly that it is (insofar as I can tell) one of the only recent Scott movies not to get the extended cut/special edition treatment on home video. It does have that most sought after of accolades, though - a review quote from the Daily Star on the box art.

@LN78 @JohnnyShoulder I remember watching Noah and finding it pretty awful. Never even knew much about Exodus but even though that impressive sounding cast piques the curiosity, looks like I should steer clear!

@Th3solution @JohnnyShoulder Forgot to mention that "Exodus" also has Aaron Paul of "Breaking Bad" fame in one of the featured supporting roles - although he too appears to have fallen victim to editor's scissors. I kept expecting him to say "yay plague of locusts,b**ch!" or something similar. He was seriously miscast.

@LN78 I forgot to say the other day, the most memorable part in Top Gun Maverick was seeing Val Kilmer in that kind of state. For some reason, that got me right in the feels.
